Harry potter and the philosophers stone. The author is a well known person called J.K.Rowling,
her first book in the series is called "the philosophers stone" I really liked the book because of the humour and the plot. The main character is called Harry potter , he finds out that he has magic powers and goes to a school where they teach magic instead of English or maths. His best friends are Ron and Hermione, and his nemesis is Draco.
Harry and his friend's go on a hunt for a magic stone. but they don't know that who killed his parents is also looking for it...
